Gellum Delivery Calculator for WooCommerce is built for restaurants, local shops, and any merchant who delivers inside a defined geographic area. Customers pinpoint the drop-off on an interactive Google Map — or let the browser attempt GPS detection — instead of guessing from a street address. You set operational reach with a drawn or uploaded GeoJSON boundary (Polygon and MultiPolygon). Rates are offered only inside that area, which is drawn on the map so the customer can see coverage. Distance can be measured as a straight line with the Haversine formula, or as a driving route through the Google Directions API, in kilometres or miles. Reverse geocoding fills Plus Code, city, state or province, postal code, and country, then updates WooCommerce billing fields in real time. Each order stores the selected latitude and longitude; the admin order screen links to Google Maps, and the confirmation email includes a static map of store (A) and delivery (B). Checkout validates the pin server-side so the location is still inside the GeoJSON area. The method is HPOS compatible, works as a standard WooCommerce shipping method, and can be placed with the [gellumdcw_map] shortcode. On Multisite, each subsite keeps its own API key, store coordinates, GeoJSON, and pricing.

GPS distance, your way
Choose straight-line Haversine (bird’s-eye, no extra Directions cost) or a driving route via the Google Directions API. The map shows the route or a curved line to match the method. Distance and rates can be in kilometres or miles.
GeoJSON delivery area
Draw or paste a Polygon or MultiPolygon. The zone is outlined on the map, and rates are only offered when the pin is inside it. Checkout re-checks the location server-side.
Reverse geocoding
When the pin moves, Google Geocoding returns Plus Code, city, state or province, postal code, and country, and fills WooCommerce address fields so checkout typing is shorter and more accurate.
Configurable rates
Set a base fee, a maximum distance that fee covers, and an additional rate per kilometre or mile beyond that. Optionally offer free delivery above a subtotal (set the threshold to 0 to disable).
GPS on the order and in email
Latitude and longitude are saved with the order. The admin order screen shows the coordinates and a Google Maps link. Confirmation emails include a static map of store (A) and customer (B).
Shortcode and HPOS
Place the map with [gellumdcw_map]. The shipping method is High-Performance Order Storage compatible and uses WooCommerce’s native checkout updates.
Multisite-ready settings
Each subsite can have its own Google Maps API key, store latitude and longitude, GeoJSON area, and pricing. Sessions, carts, and order GPS stay isolated per site.
