Gellum Delivery Calculator for WooCommerce is built for restaurants, local shops, and any merchant who delivers inside a defined geographic area. Customers pinpoint the drop-off on an interactive Google Map — or let the browser attempt GPS detection — instead of guessing from a street address. You set operational reach with a drawn or uploaded GeoJSON boundary (Polygon and MultiPolygon). Rates are offered only inside that area, which is drawn on the map so the customer can see coverage. Distance can be measured as a straight line with the Haversine formula, or as a driving route through the Google Directions API, in kilometres or miles. Reverse geocoding fills Plus Code, city, state or province, postal code, and country, then updates WooCommerce billing fields in real time. Each order stores the selected latitude and longitude; the admin order screen links to Google Maps, and the confirmation email includes a static map of store (A) and delivery (B). Checkout validates the pin server-side so the location is still inside the GeoJSON area. The method is HPOS compatible, works as a standard WooCommerce shipping method, and can be placed with the [gellumdcw_map] shortcode. On Multisite, each subsite keeps its own API key, store coordinates, GeoJSON, and pricing.
